When

Llama Hikes are seasonal from april-november though we may schedule private hikes over winter if the weather permits

-Spring public group hikes are pre-scheduled and are for ages 10+ and go on sale wednesday march 26th at noon

-spring private group hikes are all ages can be reserved now by sending us an email or filling out the form below

What to expect

Hikers will gather at the farm for a 90 minute experience learning about llamas and how to handle them on the trail

Distance & Terrain

The hike is about 1.2 miles with wide mowed paths through our forest reserve, tall grass prairie, and over a creek crossing that winds up and around a large cedar grove

You can expect two moderate inclines on the hike with a few stops for photos and to let the llamas graze

What to bring and wear:

Closed toed shoes are required and long pants are highly recommended

Weather & Cancellation Policy:

Conditions including high wind, heat, lightening, ice, and snow are grounds for cancellation we will let you know as soon as possible if we are looking to cancel or change the start time

  • public group hikes - ages 10+

    on sale 3/26 at noon with a preview of the schedule available one week before

    $40 per person

    all hikers must be age 10 or older

    add a second hiker to share a llama at $15 (no more than two people for one llama)

    *you will be randomly assigned a llama and we are not able to take specific llama requests for public group hikes

  • private group hikes - all ages

    we offer a limited number or private hikes which start at $150 and includes two people

    additional tickets can be purchased at $50 per person up to 9 people, (up to 11 llamas go on the hike) then $15 per person up to 20 hikers total
